My name is Mark VanNess. I have been tattooing since 1997. I am on the road (by airplane, boat, train, bus…etc…) traveling around the world in 2010. I am in the USA between Florida, North Carolina, and New York City for the months of May-July 2010. After these dates I don’t know where I will be at.

I have been tattooing in the same shop, before this trip idea, for 7 years. I felt as time had passed by like in most people’s lives, that I was becoming less inspired, stagnate, or unchallenged. Now that I have left this shop, I am on a quest to find shops and people in the world of tattooing, whether it be tattooing or painting. Just an opportunity to create and develop more skills and insight for me to keep moving to the next level. I just want to be able to suit my clients to the very best of my ability. I just want to continue to learn and challenge myself. I just want more for me as well as my client.
